High school hackathon for building apps, websites, and games!

NHacks began as Michigan’s first high school hackathon that brings students of all levels of experience, personalities, and backgrounds together. This 100% free event uses collaboration and provides a venue for self-expression and creativity, young developers can push boundaries of innovation and shape the future of tomorrow. Whether it’s creating a website, an app, or even working on a hardware hack, the world of technology is at your fingertips. It's time to change the world.

SCHEDULE:

8AM - 9AM: Breakfast

9AM - 10AM: Opening Ceremony (With Keynote Speaker Thomas Finholt!)

10AM: Hacking Starts

12PM - 1PM: Lunch

3PM - 5PM: Middle School Minecraft Workshop

6PM - 7PM: Dinner

9:30PM - 11:30PM: Demo, Prizes, and Closing Ceremonies

Eligibility

Participants: High School Students in teams no greater than 4

Requirements

You are free to build anything from a game to an app to a website. It must, however, be a form/use of technology. You are responsible for having it be displayed for judges to see. During our closing ceremony, you and your team will be given a microphone and a projector and an alotted amount of time to talk about your hack. Good Luck!
